Without a goal, upgrade plans become inefficient and delay key breakpoints. Decide your objective first, then align base design and upgrade order.

Prioritize defenses that influence many attack types. In most levels, this includes X-Bows, Inferno Towers, Eagle-level core defenses, and anti-air systems. Splash defenses are also important when current meta includes swarm and support-heavy attacks.

Walls matter, but they should not block key weapon upgrades. A strong core with weak walls often performs better than max walls with under-leveled headline defenses.
